Gordon Murray is in a league of his own and very modest with it as are most genius.
The car is an absolute belter, sadly only the Mr Beans of this world will be able to crash/drive them...
I dont see the "very modest" bit - the Harry's Garage video didnt show a modest man but an ego. That said the man is right in so many design areas that he is another Chapman. Did you note his gearbox comments about DCT trans,issions and not feeling that you have changed gear with them. Its exactly the point I tried to make when we were talking about the auto box on the Plus Four. The Jonh Berbard automated manual, as I had in the 430, is an excellent compromise giving both flappy paddles and an auto facility together with perceprtible gear changes and a sensible number of gears.
He has gone for the ultimate drivers car rather than followed the silly bhp race. Good on him.
