Thanks Steven, the photo was actually taken by
Stuart Appleby. The interior is done in a Yarwood distressed aniline leather and I was advised that aniline leathers have some of the identifying characteristics of nubuck which are: it is very soft to the touch, it will scratch very easily, and water drops will darken the leather temporarily (it will return to its original colour upon drying).
So far this advice has been proved correct as when thoroughly soaked the leather goes almost black, and then dries out to its normal colour. Like you and your Dealer, as I intend to use the 3W in the UK, I'll probably play safe and order a normal automotive quality pigmented leather.
