Oh Howard you are so wrong, in the event of a serious or life threatening or worse RTC everything is interrogated ECU, the hidden trackers as fitted in high value cars not to mention mobile phones with GPS. You would be very surprised at the depths we go too. Hope you never have to find out.
Thanks for that. I wasnt aware how far the intrusion had moved since my one and only serious RTA 15 years ago.. That said, its not the serious RTA that worries me so much as the routine traffic stop or minor collision. Or David R example of a minor technical issue that doesnt affect an incident anyway.
