Here's a picture of the PBT in construction. The disc is before the CV and drive shaft. Of course one benefit is reduced mass in the wheel assembly which translates into lower inertia in sprung wheel movement (unsprung mass). Haha as if that matters in a three wheeler :-) But the ride is superb.
