I have just bought my first Morgan. A silver 1997 Plus 8 with royal blue hood and wire wheels
Worryingly bought from a distance, as it was located in Northern Ireland and I was in Cumbria.
An independent inspection confirmed a few things but was inconclusive on some important points. However, as the car only had 6000 miles on it, I decided to take a chance and have it delivered.
So far I am very happy. A coolant leak and duff battery being the first issues to be sorted.
Rust bubbles on the running boards will be dealt with in the future.
First is to get the car down to Lifes Motors in Southport for a full check over and service.
That is a week on Monday.
The adventure begins! There are so many things I don’t know about, I don’t know what to ask, so I’ll just say hello for now.
Oh! First thing was fitting a luggage rack so we can at least have weekends away.
