Others will no doubt be along to correct me, but I think that Lifes Motors is no longer trading , BUT their chief spanner man has set himself up as an independent, and people speak very highly of him.
1997 is the changeover year from short to long door bodies , do you know which yours is? The former has the stainless steel bulkhead and valences, so easy to tell.
As it has so underused it might be worth doing a few shorter trips after the service to get the issues to the surface before setting off on a major tour.
The mechanicals are pretty bombproof (Rover V8 , R380 gearbox, Dana-Spicer rear axle) it is going to be cooling , electrics , brakes and suspension that are going to need attention.
Just ask any question , there is no such thing as a stupid one here, only silly mistakes from not asking them.
