I spent many years responsible for software requirements and project implementation for my company and know that even with the best of planning and intention something will go wrong. Nobody was without sin; me, software developers, hardware suppliers, project managers et al so the present so called “shambles” has certainly not come as a surprise. To be frank I pity everyone at the pointy end of this lot.
I find myself agreeing with Paul. I don’t think it matters who is in government the result wouldn’t be much different. What it probably confirms is how bad UK plc is in implementing so much.
