There will never be a car prog to suit everyone. Look at the range currently on tv.
The mainly US hot rod/refurb type, Bangers and Cash for UK older cars, the electric conversion series, reruns of other series. Occasional documentaries can be good, depending on your preferences. The Race to Perfection series is one.
Take your pick.
There is a basic formula that most tend to follow with tweaks added.
If you think about it, what format would you put together that would be broadcastable/commerciallly viable for the range of people?
