Keep a good eye on the pipe. I fitted this sort of conversion to my previous Morgan and eventually found one had blocked and as I was greasing it was simply forcing a grease bubble in the pipe - I went back to grovelling underneath as I do with my current car.
I think the idea is to check that greasing has worked by seeing it squeeze out of the seal.
