tommog, I have a 1985 carb +8 which as a low mileage barn find was stripped around the year 2000 and subjected to body-off nut and bolt rebuild by a Morgan enthusiast garage owner to concourse standards, I bought it in 2002, toured France Spain and Italy, though it has still covered few miles, perhaps 43K in total, thus has plenty of life left..(-: Not much use to you as it is RHD

The carb fed Morgans are perhaps the simplest to repair and maintain in the long term, though quite how the politics around global warming might impact the use of old pre digital combustion engine technology, I can only guess..

Perhaps best to enjoy that which we can while we can..?
