I'm a 5x ex 911 owner, keep buying them, realise that they are no fun under about 120mph, sell & buy something more interesting to drive.
Currently have an AMG SLC as a daily driver, faster than a 911 in a straight line but doesn't do corners / damp roads very well. It makes it much more fun to drive.
Keep thinking about swapping the SLC and the recently acquired Plus 4 for a Plus Six - ends up with the power, aircon & auto box of the SLC with the charm & looks of the Plus 4. I cant decide if that ends up as a good all rounder or just something badly compromised everywhere.
Your comments ring a bell withbme. The answer to your search is a Lotus, if you can get in one. Extremely tactile car that satisfies the need for fun at sensible speeds. Reading comments on here about the Plus 6 suggests to me that it's flawed, but I have never driven one personally.
