I thought I would fact check your "10 times the power of an F1 engine" claim.

To my amazement I see that Top Fuel Dragsters can develop 11,000 horsepower.

Sorry I doubted you but I have to go to Santa Pod next year to experience that.


I recommend the FIA/FIM Main Event and Finals. Often a good field of top fuellers and funny cars (similar power but in enclosed bodywork)

Not sure how it compares to F1, but an advance day ticket this year was £28, and an additional £7 gets you a grandstand seat. Thats about 8 hours of racing..
