Good story Lightspeed.
I learnt a long time ago that the more you pay for something the more superior the problem will be. I had a boss in the early 90s that yearned for his idea of a perfect company car even though it was too expensive for company policy. The car in question was a BMW 520. The executive team finally relented and let him have one. After that the dealers service engineer more or less resided in our car park fixing squeaky wiper blades, loose carpet etc. Etc. This guy was a touch obsessive about the car. Then one day I was in his office and the service guy popped his head around the door and said “I’ve found the reason for the dim brake lights sir, the gas pressure in the bulbs was a bit low”. Say no more.
