Well my S1 Roadster is in repair at one dealer. They told me the wear on the drivers side king pin was "one of the worst they had seen (46k on Devol bushes). When is was serviced prior to the accident by another well known Morgan dealer they had an advisory of a slight wear on the passenger side only.
I well remember Colin (Spanner Juggler) replacing Ken's (not seen him post for quite a while - UVK33N?) king pins at around the 80k mile mark. The wear (Devol bushes) was horrendous. However, one must bear in mind that the standard MoT check has the front of the car lifted slightly (wheel off the ground), putting the stub axles at one end of the KP, outside of the main wear region.
