Firstly, much of the public do not care for your property. I had incidents where returning to the car at a petrol station I found a bloke sat in it posing for pics with his mates. I had a member of the public at the Silverstone supercar Sunday event use her foot on the front splitter "to see what it was made out of" and at a car show I returned to find a woman standing her child on the running boards for pictures next to the car....further she was must put out when I told her not to stand her child on my car.
Strewth!
I've never had that sort of unwanted attention - nothing more than a nick in the paint at a Blenheim event.
But I don't know what goes on when I'm away from the car: I do remember seeing dashcam footage from Ale72's Supersports - and it's full of admiring glances.
As my Aero's a convertible I've found a dashcam set that's weatherproof and small enough to fit without spoiling the car's looks. It's going on next month.
