I immediately had this idea and imagination in my head but I couldn't find a better example of visualization. What you see in the video is made for heavy loads. But the principle could be realized with small little rollers also for the effect board. The advantage is that it stands rock solid and as Colin said, the foot remains unstrained if the height of the board does not change.
