No, but then they didn't include the devastation caused by the exploration, prospecting, drilling, extraction, transport, refining, and distribution of petroleum products either.


They do. They also include the impact of the battery production.

Edit: If I have been interpreting the report correctly it also means that EVs are neither cost-effective or reduce CO2 emissions for someone like me with extremely low annual mileage and who keep their cars for a long time. Which I suspect I knew, but is non-the-less a bit disappointing.
