With the damper blades - check that there is no lateral movement between the guides on the chassis side. Only in and out is required. Slackenning the bolts on the plates for the shims on the chassis rail allows the shims to be adjusted to just allow the blades to move in and out with no lateral play.. Then grease the blades.
As a future upgrade when my kingpins need replacing i will install bearings and then be able to remove the damper blades.
