Yep. Take the spare wheel out and look behind the base of the Cobra. You'll see the release cable. These catches are standard bonnet catches - possibly Ford, but maybe Land Rover........ The cable is Hit & Miss with lots of free play.
Be very careful how you treat the rear hood frame. They have been known to break and replacement is pricey. Later rear hood frames are stronger.
