The report says the plane has been undergoing repairs since early 2019. Seems Ilyushin dont do long term spares support. They should have used a DC3.
I remember the plexiglass nose cones flying between Moscow & Vilnius in 1990's. There used to be a flexible approach to cabin baggage, a car tyre & 24 packets of cornflakes were deemed OK.
