Absolutely - he will be an usher at my wedding in a few weeks. You ddon't throw away a good friendship over a car. You give your mate a kick up the arse for provoking oversteer on a roundabout in feburary at 5.30 am taking your car home from the airport though. Especially when he phones you in the check in queue to tell you your car is wrecked! Main thing was he got out ok. I could buy a new car (eventually!).....
