Interesting comment Almond. I too have owned both Lotus and F type and test driven far too many cars to count including all the Morgan range bar the CX. . In my experience, the only one you will ever drive and find the "Lotus" steering feel is the Maclaren but then they did hire 8 Lotus engineers when starting supercar production. Ferrari are good but not that good. The Jag wasnt bad either. But nothing I have even been in matches a Lotus.
I agree about the Jag. Mine was a V6R and I reckon it was a badly under rated car, at least as good as Porsche in the same price bracket. Unfortunately it suffers from the name and perhaps the fact that its British and therefore labelled unreliable.
