I know there is a Scottish contingent on TM so with all the talk going on since the SNP got power in the Scottish Parliament, how well do people think Scotland would have done through the pandemic if it were not for the furlough scheme formulated by the British Gov't?
Also, If an independent Scotland managed to somehow re-join the EU, there would have to be a border at Hadrians Wall to prevent free movement from the EU to the UK via Scotland. Do the Scottish people understand and accept this?
Independence would also have a profound effect on Britains ability to defend itself from invasion and will always be a sticking point.
In principle I want everyone to choose their own destiny but unlike Cataluna, I think Scotland would struggle to qualify for Europe and the Euro so they need to think carefully about what they wish for.
All just my opinion but this has gained legs recently and I'm interested to see what the general consensus might be on TM
