I have a newer Harley CVO with their free breathing air filter. It's filter material similar to that of the S&S, but on a Harley they are sideways relative to the M3W. With my CVO I received a waterproof sock that you are supposed to put over the air cleaner when it's raining to keep the filter from getting water logged.

Now keep in mind that on the Harley the AC is somewhat out of the way on the side, but with the M3W, it's dead smack facing forward.

Here's my question. Anyone ever run in the rain and get a carb full of water or a water logged filter? Without a water proof sock of sorts, I can't see how one might keep the filter dry while driving in the rain.

Any thoughts?

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I was under the impression we were fuel injected, so no carbs?
