Does anyone remember the episode of Top Gear where the team took a Transit to the 'Ring, driven by Sabine Schmitz?

Yes, indeed but that was a standard diesel. I do recall that they stripped everything they could out of the van ( including Sabines belt ) to lighten the van and try and get under 10 seconds. It was a really good effort and just showed how good a driver she was/is !!
