In England at least from Monday we are allowed to drink and eat meals outside at pubs in tables of 6.
We are off on Wed to the Bell in Kersey to support a pub built in 1378. To put that in perspective the battle of Crecy was in 1346. Poitiers was in 1356 and Agincourt in 1415. The black death was in 1348.
Kersey was a wool town producing Kersey cloth that is mentioned by Shaekespeare in Measure for Measure & Loves Labours Lost.
What a heritage to be supporting. It won't be hardship as it involves driving some lovely A & B roads with other Morgans to a real ale pub.
The week after we are at the Four Horseshoes in Thornham Magna which is from the 12th century.
But I'll also support my local.
Hopefully lots of folk on here will do the same and save our cultural heritage from the ravages of Doris & COVID before it is too late.
