I remember my first visit there with Ray. Morgan day just after the Brooklands cars were made. One of the stewards asked us about them as one owner claimed free entry as part of owning one! We talked him through it. He thanked us and took us on a private tour. Opened locked doors in a few places. Under the hyperbaric chamber was a real eye opener! The whole chamber / big!) was supported on wooden stands of loose crossed pieces. There were models of experimental craft there too. Barnes-Wallis was based there doing high altitude testing with the models. We did the trip in a day with a couple of runs up the test hill and back round on the banking plus a parade lap session on MB World track. Boring and slow!
Second visit was organised by the Surrey branch of Taffmog ( two members only) and we added on the Concorde experience, chatting to a guide who was a stewardess on the actual flights. Some great anecdotes.
It is a place to visit more than once.
