Today I have looked at my NEW HiSpec brake upgrade and would like the opinion of knowledgable mechanics I believe to be an issue.

The coverage of the HiSpec upgrade regards the pads on the surface of the rotor is LESS than the coverage of the original LockHeed AP calipers AND in my opinion raises a brake safety/performance issue as part of the brake pads are not used. In fact if you view the
GOMOG page here
https://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/brakehistory.html#WATCHPOINT:
it mentions a lip forming on the pads where disc coverage is unsatisfactory. In the case of the HiSpec conversion if we use the original AP brake caliper bracket then we have 1cm lip ie brake pad unused?
