Sometime before my ownership, the parking brake cable was replaced on my 4/4.
The new cable is cable tied to the underside of the floorpan, so making future replacement a lot simpler.
I would say that's clever but I'd still have had to take the gearbox tunnel off to gain access to the nuts that fix to the chassis bracket. The clevis pin is easily accessible from the underside but not the cable fixing. I suspect that they might have cut a hatch in the tunnel as well for this? It did cross my mind but I thought I'd keep it original 🙂
