The MMC statement reproduced in the May edition of Miscellany (Page 10) says:
“Rubber fuel pipes, pre CX-Generation, are not E10 compliant”
This statement has an asteroid which points to a line which reads”
“This applies to all steel-chassis cars up to 2020.”
There is a load of other info and the line:
“On recent traditional Morgans, the only obvious “soft rubber” parts of the fuel system are the filler pipes and tank vents etc. These will definitely need upgrading, according to MMC.”
The article also quotes MMC as saying that they are sending information to enable a statement to be added to the .gov information. It’s not on
the UK site yet.
