It also strikes me that a lot of the the compromises that one readily accepts with a "trad" Morgan body are OK at 4/4 price level, reasonably OK at Plus 4 level, and only just OK at Roadster level.

Can I really justify spending the thick end of £100K and still put up with water leaks, wind noise, bonnet chafing and all the other archaic build traits that we all know and love?

Don't get me wrong - I'm loving my new Roadster, and the whole Morgan experience - accepting it for what it is. But having asked my dealer to let me know asap about Plus 8 ordering arrangements, and intending to try and arrange a test drive, I'm now thinking "Too Much", and won't bother.

Maybe the price stacks up better in export markets, as the poor old British Pound struggles to keep its head above water?
