Thought I'd update this - the process has started......
This week I ordered an recondiioned Type 9 from Burton Power and it's now sitting in Simons workshop. Went for the standard gear ratios based on my driving and Simon's recommendation. Bit pricey, but thought it less risky that getting a secondhand box and tryng to get it reconditioned - knowing me, I'd get one that needed addtional parts replacing and end up with a far higher bill!
Just a few more bits and pieces to gather together and a suitable slot in Simons calendar and we're away
