It is certainly a beautiful part of the country and we are lucky with the roads we have.
I am originally from Wirral and been up here since 1999, so we are used to the long drag. It can be quite enjoyable in summer if you set off at first light on a Sunday morning. Don't think I will be doing that this time...........
