The belts do shed a bit and keeping an eye on them is another good idea, and the main reason I put a clear cover on mine.
These transparent covers do look nice to me! I see 3 including the Italian company mentioned in this thread (but didnt check the alternative parts list...) plus I think Krazy Horse had a vented non-transparent option?
