Back in the early 70's my BiL was working for Lipton Fork Lift Trucks and remembers meeting Bill Fink who was looking at the LPG setup they were using on the truck engines at the time.

I'm pretty sure that later he also used to put larger (? 6ltr) LS V8s in them too.
