Over the last 40 years I have raised the seats in many cars to suit Jill.
On our 1985 4/4 I unclipped the base upholstery from the seat frame and inserted a 10" square of 1" thick high density foam (cut from a kneeler mat) under the existing foam, towards the rear of the squab & refitted cover.
Adjustment range now suits 5'3 and 5'9 drivers.
