I'll put some headlights on the roof of my 4/4, raise the suspension 4 cm and build a roll cage. Then the car is 120,000€ more expensive. BTW, I could have done the whole route in the MMC film with my 4/4. More dust than terrain was shown, actually a completely ordinary unpaved road, plus the one scene where the car has to jump down a bit. They probably shot that at the very end because the frame got bent.
