What is the ultimate spec Morgan Plus 8?
Hmmm, interesting question and one that really boils down to personal opinion.
The first question is, how do we define a Plus 8 - is it a factory produced, unmodified, vehicle or one that an aftermarket tuner has worked their magic on (or worst case, butchered!)
Personally, I'd love to have the first Plus 8 which rolled off the production line - the history of that vehicle would be nice to see parked in my garage and enjoyed on a regular basis.
In terms of the ultimate drive, I wouldn't know because I haven't the experience behind the wheel of the +8; however, based on my experience with the SS, I love the feeling of a track fettled Morgan. So my vote would be for a rapid engine, excellent adjustable suspension, sports exhaust (so that I can hear the engine rumble) and a nice induction kit.
