I deal with many cars that have punctures on fast roads i.e. 70 mph. By the time they stop the tyre is shredded and no amount of goo will fix that ! I wouldn't go anywhere without the spare on my +4 and my Fiesta ST came with goo, first thing I did was buy a spacesaver and jack on fleabay about £50 money well spent.
