We have two child seats for our granddaughters for use in our 1985 4 seater.
Both the seat and child are retained by the factory fit static seat belts, with an "Impact shield" in front of the child.
The seats are "Cybex Gold" and "Kiddy Phoenixfix Pro 2", both very similar & suitable for children 9 to 18kg.
This type of seat is not easy to get hold of, hence us having two different seats - at least you have started looking in plenty of time!
We also bought "Nuoman" toddler size bicycle helmets with visors, for use when running without a hood.
