And....in the category of "issues with old car, low miles" (2012) the bump stops --rubber part at top of shock--on my original front shocks turned to powder. Shocks are fine and no reason to switch them (as far as I can tell). Any way to tell if these coil-over shocks are supplex or spax at a glance? And do you know if bump stop dampers are general and work on all shocks? Or do I have to hunt down manufacture? suggestions?
