Consider this.
- The cobra, IMHO, is bloody ugly
- It sticks up in the mirror
- If you tour, luggage on the rack obscures it
- A garage, remaining nameless, pointed out that the Cobra is not required for the MOT
Following advice elsewhere on this forum I replaced it with an LED strip on the luggage rack.
- It's higher than the wing mounted brake lights
- it's right at the back (have you ever been confused by pick-ups & trucks where the brightest lights are on the cab?)
- always, always visible
LED strip from Amazon, a few P clips (Vehicle Wiring Products) and a strip of aluminium - job done
