As TBM says .... bump the end of the indicator stalk inwards with your hand

Ps ... if the end of the stalk moves in but there's no horn it could be the switch contacts are burnt out .... it can be a problem as the horn takes a bit of current and can make the switch fail if there's no relay to handle the current and protect the stalk switch ( as there wasn't in early cars)
