Went to blow the cobwebs off on Saturday , having not driven for a couple of weeks. Had a really good run around the Chilterns for about an hour. Detoured a bit from my usual route and took advantage of an empty dual carriage way and opened her up a bit and changing up through the gears. Under heavy acceleration between each gear change there was a real lurch on the steering wheel to the left and the backend snaked a bit. I backed off and drove for a while in the same gear, slowing down to turn right . Now onto a 30 mph section of road and gentle under acceleration I noticed very slightly the same movement in the steering wheel and backend

This has not happened before and I wondered what it could be related too, front end tracking rod or drive shaft etc?.

Any thoughts ?
