Yes I had an S1 for around ten years and carried out many improvements for drivability and comfort, but didn't post much on TM back then
The Superchips Bluefin upgrade can be done by yourself through the OBD port as it's a handheld module that firstly copies & downloads your current map (so you can revert back) and then uploads the new one, very easy takes around 20 mins
From memory it may have perhaps removed a little flat spot at low throttle settings, but no significant difference in performance, acceleration or top end, I used to sometimes drive it (cough) properly on the second set of cams and it would bounce on the rev limiter just the same, as you know they can be surprisingly quick
Just my personal opinion, but the S1 is mapped very well for road use and I would not bother with the Bluefin again
Also worth noting that the Bluefin in a basic generic map and appears to be sold to cover multiple V6 Fords, all on the same module, but the ability to revert back to OE setup is useful
