Horses have bars...?

If the weight distribution or general body positioning of person in control plays a degree of importance in aspect of progress, then riding may be a more apt description...? Of course the degree of exposure to the elements perhaps plays a part in such assessments too..?
Just thinking in type.
Thought we were talking vehicles?
You ride a horse, but I think you 'drive' a horse drawn carriage?
So, it depends on the seating arrangements. Bikes and horses have saddles, coaches and cars have seats. Therefore a 3 wheeler converted from a bike, with a saddle is ridden, a 3 wheeler based on a car, with seats, is driven!
Q E D!
