I recall Belzona molecular metal being used to repair the tanks on oil filled power transformers when I was a young engineer in the power supply industry back in the ‘70s. The fact that it could withstand both oil and constant vibration from a.c. current, was impressive. So I used it to seal a leak in the seam of my Matchless G12 petrol tank which had rusted and split open; and it never leaked again.
