When she was reviewing the fleet in Torbay in the 70s I & mate were in Torquay on our pedal bikes. When we started back for home (Paignton) along the sea front we realised she was due to arrive from Britannia in the bay . The road was closed along the front to the railway station but the fuzz let us cycle through to the delight of the crowds. That was fun.
Various sprogs have met Edward as part of the DoE scheme or Scouting. I can see a reduced Monarchy working if we skip the adulterer Charles & have William. The rest of them can take a lead from Anne who I respect.
