this I have never had one fail in nigh on twenty years, keep it simple and just mount it on the saddle board behind the drivers seat and remove the key..
Mine failed! Easy fix by bolting both leads to the same terminal.
Bought and fitted a new one, but am now planning to remove. It's location under the bonnet means it's useless as an anti-theft, and I fitted one of those Dis-Car-nect things to the negative terminal for when I'm working on the electrics
