I think I stick to storing the side screens on the shelf behind the seats. That's not a problem on short trips but on holidays (3-4 weeks) we have more luggage, which sits quite high behind the seats and makes closing the tonneau difficult. Thanks again for the replies and I will look for another project for the Morgan.

If it helps, I did a 3 week road trip from the UK with my final destination being Greece. I used the storage area for the side screens for other stuff and drove the long legs of the trip with my side screens on and didn't ever feel I was missing out, especially with long stretches on the motorway. The side screens came off once I reached a place where I was staying more than just a single night and then enjoyed the full top down treatment.

In short, keeping it simple and keeping them on won't be a bad thing. Assuming you have an easy-up top, much easier to then secure the car should you need to leave it for a service station break. I ended up having wire mesh security nets locked to parts of the car and this was a help as well.

Enjoy your upcoming trip!
